Without a macro? No telefoto or zoom at all? You were really that close?
Wow. That's cool.
I love this picture. It's framed really nicely, and the butterflies are gorgeous.
The unfocused tree in the background makes everything look very springy and dreamy.
And you chose the border very well. That touch of transparent, pale orange picks up the butterflies highlights amidst all the green.
Very nice.

Well, not with a specialised macro.... I took this pic with my allround lens, a tamron 18-200, sorry to disappoint you ;-)

Very nicely done. the Tamron set to 91mm worked perfectly. The faded background just adds the the moment.
